Tim is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Hayfin and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Prior to starting Hayfin, Tim was a Partner at Goldman Sachs, where he co-headed the European Leveraged Finance and Acquisition Finance businesses. He was also a member of Goldman Sachs’ firmwide Capital Committee. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Tim was a corporate finance lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell, a New York-based law firm. He graduated with a JD from Columbia Law School and a BS from Georgetown University. 

Mark is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Hayfin and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Prior to starting Hayfin, he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he worked in a variety of capacities, including Leveraged Finance, UK Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Finance. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Mark spent two years as a banking and finance lawyer at Allen & Overy and two years as a corporate lawyer at Gadens Lawyers in Australia. He graduated with an LLB/BA from the University of New South Wales. 

Alexander joined Hayfin in 2020 and is the Global Head of Partner Solutions and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Hayfin, he was a Senior Managing Director at Avenue Capital Group for 16 years, where he was a member of the firm’s Management Committee and responsible for institutional fundraising and investor relations as well as product and strategic development across the firm. Before joining Avenue Capital, Alexander spent five years as an investment banker at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney, where he was in the Financial Entrepreneurs Group. He began his career as a corporate attorney with Schulte Roth & Zabel, where he focused on structuring and advisory work for hedge funds and private equity firms. Alexander graduated from Emory University School of Law with distinction where he was a Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal, and also received a BA from Emory University. 

Alban joined Hayfin in 2015 and is a Managing Director in the Private Credit team, responsible for origination and investment opportunities in France and Benelux.

Prior to joining Hayfin, he worked at Fair Oaks Capital within the investment team where he was responsible for CLO equity investments. Before Fair Oaks, Alban was a credit analyst at Ember Capital, a fund specialising in mezzanine investment throughout Europe. He graduated from ESSCA with a Master’s in Corporate Finance.

Albert joined Hayfin in 2017 and is a Managing Director in the European High-Yield & Syndicated Loans team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, he spent three years at Goldman Sachs in London as an associate in the TMT and Industrials investment banking advisory group. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Albert spent three years as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Germany. He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSc in Quantitative Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.  

Alex joined Hayfin in 2015 and is a Managing Director within the European High-Yield & Syndicated Loans team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, he worked at Goldbridge Capital Partners as an investment analyst and before that he spent three and a half years in the Leveraged Finance and Sponsors Group of Credit Suisse in London, working on the origination, structuring and execution of leveraged debt financings for financial sponsors and corporates across EMEA. Alex has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from University College London.

Andreas joined Hayfin in 2019 and is a Managing Director and Head of the Maritime Team.

Prior to this, he was at Breakwater Capital which began an exclusive partnership with Hayfin in 2014. Andreas established Breakwater Capital and Celsius Shipping in 2011 and served as the Chief Executive Officer. Before establishing Breakwater, he was President of Delphin Shipping, a New York based investment vehicle focused on the maritime sector and backed by Kelso & Co. Previously Andreas was a Managing Director at BTMU Capital Corporation (Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi), where he was responsible for the implementation of their global shipping platform. Prior to BTMU, he was a General Manager with A.P. Moller Maersk. Andreas served in the Royal Danish Air Force and received an HD1 in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and studied Psychology at Copenhagen University.

Andrew joined Hayfin in 2010 and is the Chief Risk Officer and Chairperson of the firm’s Portfolio Risk Committee and Risk and Compliance Committee.

He previously served as a Portfolio Manager for Private Credit. Prior to joining Hayfin, Andrew spent nine years at Merrill Lynch, where he was Head of the European Leveraged Finance business, with responsibility for the origination, execution, capital markets and syndicate functions. He was also a member of the European Investment Banking Operating Committee. Before his time at Merrill Lynch, Andrew was a senior member of the leveraged finance teams at Bankers Trust and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. He graduated with an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.

Andrew joined Hayfin in 2016 and is the Managing Director within the Healthcare team. 

Prior to joining Hayfin, he spent five years in the healthcare leveraged finance group at Barclays, working on the origination, structuring and execution of leveraged debt financings. Andrew received his MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. 

Andy joined Hayfin in 2020 and is the Chief Technology Officer.

Prior to joining Hayfin, he was IT Director for the Consumer Credit Division of Provident Financial Group where he was responsible for Technology and Business transformation. Before joining Provident, Andy held several senior global Technology roles with a focus on digital and data transformation, including the likes of Dell Computer Corporation, Electronic Arts, bwin.party and Gilead Sciences, and also spent time as a Senior Consulting Manager at Deloitte where he led technology transformation for a number of global clients. He graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Civil Engineering.
