Carlos joined Hayfin in 2009 and is a Portfolio Manager & Head of Special Situations in the Private Credit Team, serving as Chairperson to a number of investment committees. Carlos is Co-Chairperson of Hayfin’s People and Culture Committee.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Carlos was an Executive Director within Goldman Sachs’ Principal Investment Area in London and worked within the European Leveraged Finance business and its Investment Banking division. Carlos graduated from ICADE (Madrid) with a degree in Business Administration and Management and a degree in Law. Carlos also completed the Stanford Executive Program from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Chen joined Hayfin in 2020 and is a Director in the Healthcare Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Chen was an Associate within the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Nomura Securities in New York, working on a range of strategic and financing advisory mandates, across various sub-sectors within the Healthcare industry. Before this, Chen’s career started as an Analyst within the Industrials Investment Banking team at Credit Suisse Securities in New York. Chen graduated from Yale College and holds two B.A. degrees, in Political Sciences and Economics with honors.

Christian joined Hayfin in 2022 and is a Director in the Partner Solutions team with a focus on Nordic clients.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Christian worked at Amundi in Stockholm, Sweden and before that, for AMG and Bloomberg in London. Christian graduated from Uppsala University with a MSc in Business and Economics and from the Stockholm School of Economics with an MBA.

Clement joined Hayfin in 2017 and is a Managing Director in the Private Credit Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Clement spent two years at 3i Group in their Debt Management team in London focusing on Loan and High-Yield transactions in Europe. Before this, Clement spent two years at BNP Paribas in the Leveraged Funds team in London. Clement graduated from the University of Paris Dauphine in France with a degree in Economics and Financial Engineering.

Daniel joined Hayfin in 2025 and is a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Daniel was a Managing Director in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank in New York, focusing on U.S. Leveraged Debt Capital Markets. Before this, Daniel began his career with Deutsche Bank in Sydney, also focused on Leveraged Debt Capital Markets. Originally from New Zealand, Daniel graduated from the University of Waikato with a BMS Honors degree in Business Strategy and Finance.

Darius joined Hayfin in 2022 and is a Director in the Strategy & Corporate Development Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin and relocating to London, Darius worked in the Investment Banking division of Barclays in New York, focusing on supporting asset management and financial technology clients. Before this, Darius worked at Freeman & Co. (now Houlihan Lokey) and PwC. Darius is a CFA Charterholder and graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting.

David joined Hayfin in 2009 and is a Managing Director and the Group’s General Counsel.

Prior to joining Hayfin, he acted as European General Counsel for Apollo Global Management LLC, a leading global alternative asset manager, from 2007 to 2009. Before joining Apollo, David spent seven years as a lawyer in the international business transactions group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, where he advised clients on debt and equity capital markets transactions, bank financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and regulatory matters. David graduated Order of the Coif with a JD in Law from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. David graduated cum laude from Mary Washington College with a BA in Economics and International Affairs.

David joined Hayfin in 2017 and is a Managing Director in the US High Yield and Syndicated Loans Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, David was a Principal at Kingsland Capital Management. David began his career at Miller Tabak Roberts Securities (now known as StoneX Financial). David is a CFA charterholder and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration and the New York University with a Master in Business Administration.

David joined Hayfin in 2018 and is a Managing Director in the Human Resources Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, David spent two years at Coller Capital in the HR team, focusing on recruitment, training, strategy and talent. Before this, David spent four years at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) as HR Business Partner to the Private Equity business. David graduated from University of Newcastle with a degree in Medical Microbiology.

Diego joined Hayfin in 2020 and is a Managing Director in the Private Credit team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Diego was an investment professional at Cerberus Capital Management in London and also an Executive Director within Goldman Sachs’ Distressed Trading Desk. Before this, Diego spent two years at Evercore Partners working as a restructuring advisor and two years in JP Morgan’s Investment Banking Division. Diego graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business and from Universidad Pontificia Comillas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business Administration (Dual Degree Program).
