Jae joined Hayfin in 2018 and is a Director in the US High Yield and Syndicated Loans Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Jae was a Senior Analyst at Kingsland Capital Management. Before Kingsland, Jae worked at Tennenbaum Capital Partners (now Blackrock Private Credit) investing in distressed debt and special situations. Jae has also spent time in High-Yield Research at Barclays, Strategy & Operations at Fox Entertainment and in Investment Banking at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. (now part of JPMorgan). Jae graduated from The University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Public Policy and from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with a Master in Business Administration

James joined Hayfin in 2019 and is a Director in the Private Equity Solutions Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, James worked in the investment banking division of Nomura, focusing on M&A across EMEA. Before this, James worked in KPMG’s M&A advisory team and at Barclays in London. James is a Chartered Accountant (ACA), CFA Charterholder and graduated from Durham University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

James joined Hayfin in 2024 and is a Director in the Private Credit Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, James worked at Ares Management Limited in their European Direct Lending fund focused on middle market private credit opportunities across Europe. Before this, James worked in the investment banking division of Rothschild & Co in London, focusing on Debt Advisory & Restructuring across EMEA. James graduated from Warwick University with a BSc in Economics.

Jason joined Hayfin in 2025 and is Portfolio Manager and Head of the European High-Yield & Syndicated Loans (HYSL) strategy.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Jason spent over two years as a Portfolio Manager at Man Group following five years as Managing Director of Credit at Ares. Earlier in his career, he held the role of Director at Deutsche Bank for more than three years and various positions in High-Yield at Brookfield Investment Management after starting his finance career at Goldman Sachs in New York. Jason holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Jennifer joined Hayfin in 2020 and is a Managing Director and the European General Counsel.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Jennifer spent over seven years at Investec Bank plc most recently as COO of Advisory in London. Before this, Jennifer was a senior associate attorney at Herbert Smith in the US Securities Team. Jennifer graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and from the University of Virginia School of Law with a Juris Doctor Law.

Johannes joined Hayfin in 2017 and is a Director in the US High Yield and Syndicated Loans Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Johannes was a Principal at Kingsland Capital Management and a Senior Analyst at Ore Hill Partners for nine years where he covered telecom, media, technology and general industrial companies as well as distressed claims. Before this, Johannes worked for Midway Capital, and with Gleacher NatWest covering a number of industries. Johannes also spent two years working in Strategy for NatWest Markets and two years working as a Senior Consultant for Price Waterhouse. Johannes graduated from Trinity College with a BA in Economics and from the Univeristy of Michigan with a Master in Business Administration.

Julien joined Hayfin in 2024 and is a Director in the Healthcare Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Julien co-founded Norgine Ventures and was leading the firm’s investment activities. Before joining Norgine Ventures, Julien worked in Lazard’s Corporate Finance Healthcare team, as well as J&J’s Pharma M&A team. Julien graduated from Institut Catholique d’Arts et Métiers (ICAM) with a Diploma in Engineering and from UCLA Anderson School of Management with a Master of Business Administration.

Kamran joined Hayfin in 2009 and is a Portfolio Manager and Head of Market Solutions for the Private Credit Team, covering direct lending and special situations investments.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Kamran spent five years at HBK Investments LP, as a Portfolio Manager for the European Credit Portfolio. Before this, Kamran spent three years as an Associate at Morgan Stanley working within the High-Yield Trading Group. Kamran graduated from University College London with a degree in Statistics, Computing, Operational Research and Economics.

Kashif joined Hayfin in 2019 and is a Director of Analytics in the Technology Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Kashif was a Senior Software Engineer at Indus Valley Partners, where he worked in a senior techno-functional consulting role, leading the design, architecture, and delivery of bespoke data, analytics, and investment platform software for global alternative asset managers. Kashif graduated from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering. He has passed CFA Level II (July 2024) and is an MIT IDSS Certified Data Scientist (May 2023).

Kevin joined Hayfin in 2022 and is the Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Kevin was a Managing Director in the Private Equity Team at British Columbia Investment 17 Management Corporation, leading a number of investments in the financial and business services sector. Kevin has over 20 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Kevin graduated from the University of Oxford with an MA in Economics and Management and is a Chartered Accountant.
