Kjetil joined Hayfin in 2019 and is a Managing Director in the Maritime Team.

Prior to this, Kjetil was at Breakwater Capital which began an exclusive partnership with Hayfin in 2014. Before joining Breakwater, Kjetil was a Ship Finance Officer at SMTB (Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank). Prior to SMTB, Kjetil was part of the financial planning and monitoring team in DOF Subsea, a Norway-listed subsea and marine services provider. Kjetil graduated from Bayes Business School (Cass Business School) with an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance and BI Norwegian Business School with a Bachelor in Business Administration.

Lara joined Hayfin in 2023 and is the Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director, responsible for the Group’s compliance function. Lara holds the FCA Senior Manager Functions (SMF 16 Compliance Oversight and SMF 17 Money Laundering Reporting Officer) for the UK entities.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Lara was the Head of Compliance at Park Square Capital responsible for the global compliance programme. Lara holds a BA (Hons) in History of Art and a Diploma in Investment Compliance.

Madeline joined Hayfin as Head of ESG in 2025.

Prior to joining, Madeline worked in ESG & sustainability across private credit and fixed income markets. Most recently, Madeline was ESG Manager at AlbaCore Capital Group, and was responsible for ESG assessments during the underwriting process, as well as the completion of fund- and corporate-level sustainability reporting. Madeline has also achieved CFA’s Certificate in ESG Investing and Certificate in Climate and Investing, and graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Geography.

Marc joined Hayfin in 2022 and is a Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Direct Lending in the Private Credit team, focusing on sourcing and analysing investment opportunities, and providing portfolio management across the private credit strategies.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Marc was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs based in Paris, leading its Credit Finance footprint expansion across Europe, having started his career as a banking and capital markets attorney at White & Case. Marc graduated from University of Oxford with a BA in Jurisprudence.

Marco joined Hayfin in 2025 and is a Managing Director in the Private Credit Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Marco was a Managing Director in Nordea’s Leveraged Finance team in Stockholm, focusing on the origination and execution of leveraged loan and high yield financings in the Nordic region. Before this, Marco worked in investment banking at Ermgassen & Co in London. Marco graduated from the London School of Economics with a Master of Science in International Management (CEMS) and from the University of Genoa with a BSc in Economics and Commerce (cum laude).

Mark joined Hayfin in 2010 and is a Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Direct Lending in the Private Credit Team, focusing on origination and investment opportunities in the UK.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Mark was an Associate Director in the Leveraged Finance team at National Australia Bank in Sydney. Before this, Mark worked for Deloitte Corporate Finance and qualified as a chartered accountant. Mark graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc (Honours) in Biology and from the London Business School with a Master in Finance.

Matthew joined Hayfin in 2015 and is Head of Fund Finance.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Matthew worked in Senior Fund Accounting roles at Ferox Capital and Man Group. Matthew is a Chartered Accountant (FCA), and graduated from the University of Manchester with a Bachelors degree in Physics.

Matthew joined Hayfin in 2012 and is a Managing Director in Partner Solutions Team having moved from the European High-Yield & Syndicated Loans team in 2024.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Matthew spent four years as a Research Analyst in the investment strategy division at Australian fund manager, QIC, assisting with dynamic asset allocation and management of the fixed income and alternative credit portfolios. Matthew graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a first-class honours degree in Accountancy and is a CFA charterholder.

Maura joined Hayfin in 2021 and is the Head of Product Strategy in the Partner Solutions Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Maura was a Senior Vice President at Avenue Capital Group for over 10 years, responsible for fundraising project management and client engagement across the firm’s strategies. Before this, Maura held positions at Guggenheim Securities and Ferrell Law, PA. Maura graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and from New York University with a Master of Arts in Trauma and Violence Transdisciplinary Studies.

Michael joined Hayfin in 2018 and is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Team.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Michael spent over three years at Athyrium Capital Management, a US healthcare investment firm focused on investment opportunities across credit, private equity, royalties, and other structured securities. Before this, Michael spent one year at Frankel Group, a strategy consulting firm serving the life sciences industry. Michael graduated from The University of Pennsylvania, earning dual degrees as a member of the Vagelos Life Sciences and Management Program. Michael holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BA in Biology from The University of Pennsylvania.
