Michaela joined Hayfin in 2024 and is a Managing Director in the Private Credit Team, focusing on Direct Lending and leading the Portfolio Monitoring Team.
Prior to Hayfin, Michaela spent five years at BlackRock in the Risk and Quantitative Analytics Team and most recently served as Co-head of Global Investment Risk for Private Credit and Private Equity. Before this, Michaela worked at GE Capital and held several roles in London and Abu Dhabi with a focus on underwriting, portfolio management and restructuring of leveraged loans. Michaela graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg with a BSc degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science and is a CFA Charterholder.
Milos joined Hayfin in 2018 and is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Team.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Milos spent four years at Jefferies in the European Leveraged Finance team focusing on the origination and execution of financial sponsors and corporate loan and high yield bond financings. Before this, Milos spent two years at Royal Bank of Scotland in the Leveraged Finance and Corporate Finance teams. Milos graduated from the University of Amsterdam with an MSc in International Finance and from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Mirja joined Hayfin in 2018 and is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Private Equity Solutions Team.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Mirja was a Senior Investment Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee member in the European Private Equity business at Standard Life Aberdeen, focusing on making primary, secondary and co-investments predominantly in the European Private Equity mid-market. Prior to Aberdeen Asset Management, Mirja was an Executive Director within the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. Before Goldman Sachs, Mirja worked as an analyst with Morgan Stanley. Mirja graduated from Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden and Hochschule St. Gallen, with a Master of Science in Economics and Business and CEMS Master.
Moritz joined Hayfin in 2024 and is a Director in the Partners Solutions Team, focusing on business development in the DACH region.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Moritz worked in the client relations division of Capital Four in Copenhagen and Frankfurt. Before this, Moritz worked at HSBC in Germany. Moritz graduated from Copenhagen Business School with a MSc in Economics and Business Administration in Finance and Investments and from Witten/Herdecke University with a BA in Business Economics.
Nadia joined Hayfin in 2023 and is a Tax Director for the Hayfin Corporate Group.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Nadia was a Tax Director at RoundShield Partners who specialise in European Special Situations. Before this, Nadia was a Co-Head of Tax at Pantheon Ventures and spent four years at Deloitte within the Financial Services Tax team. Nadia has over 17 years of experience of funds and corporate group taxation. Nadia graduated from University College London with a BSc (Econ) in Economics and Geography and is a Chartered Accountant.
Nicola joined Hayfin in 2016 and is a Senior Manager in the Legal Execution Team.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Nicola was a Managing Associate in the Banking team of Linklaters LLP, acting for lenders, sponsors and borrowers on a variety of leveraged and acquisition finance transactions. During this time, Nicola gained secondment experience working within the business teams of an international investment bank and a European debt fund. Nicola graduated from The London School of Economics with an LLB in Laws and is an English-qualified solicitor.
Nils joined Hayfin in 2024 and is a Director in the Private Credit Team.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Nils worked at Verition Fund Management, where he focused on special situations and event-driven credit investments. He was also an investment analyst with HBK Capital and Beach Point Capital, focused on opportunistic credit and distressed debt. Nils graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MPhil and from Maastricht University with a BSc in Economics and Business Economics.
Nino joined Hayfin in 2019 and is a Managing Director in the Maritime Team.
Prior to this, Nino was at Breakwater Capital which began an exclusive partnership with Hayfin in 2014. Before joining Breakwater, Nino was at Delphin Shipping, a New York based investment vehicle focused on the maritime sector backed by Kelso & Co, where Nino was involved in investment analysis, risk management and commercial strategy. Before this, Nino worked at McQuilling Partners in maritime finance and special projects. Nino began his career at BNP Paribas (New York) in Debt Capital Markets, Fixed Income Origination, covering transportation and financial clients and focusing on both Investment Grade and High Yield primary bond issuance. Nino graduated from Boston University with a BA in International Relations and from INSEAD with a Master of Business Administration.
Olaf joined Hayfin in 2013 and is a Senior Advisor, previously serving as Portfolio Manager and Managing Director in the Private Credit team, responsible for origination and investment opportunities in DACH, Benelux and the Nordics.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Olaf was a Managing Director of the German entity of private equity firm, Cinven. Before this, Olaf worked for nine years in various functions at JP Morgan in London and Frankfurt, most recently as a Vice President in Leveraged Finance. Olaf graduated from Karlsruhe University and UC Berkeley/Haas School of Business with a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (Master’s degree in Business Administration and Engineering).
Paul joined Hayfin in 2024 as Director in the Operations Team.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Paul worked at Caxton Associates as a Managing Director, responsible for the Middle Office function globally. Before this, Paul worked at ExodusPoint Capital from launch, running the Operations functions in Europe and Asia. Before this, Paul was Head of Derivative Operations and Middle Office at BlueBay Asset Management. Paul spent the first few years of his career working for a number of investment banks, primarily Morgan Stanley, in several operational and middle office functions. Paul holds a BA degree in European Business Systems from London Metropolitan University.
