Our maritime team applies Hayfin’s highly rigorous and disciplined investment approach to a sector that is the backbone of global trade flows.

Established in 2014, the platform is one of the world’s largest institutional investors across the capital structure and features a global team comprising both origination, underwriting and a highly experienced asset management team, Greenheart Ship Management. We invest in the maritime sector across all of our private credit strategies as well as our maritime yield strategy, which focuses on building a diversified asset owning platform generating long-term, stable income. Investments are supported by Hayfin’s in-house legal expertise in structuring transactions and executing workouts and restructuring. As with all Hayfin investments, environmental, social and governance issues are a high priority.
